In our endeavor to do so, we completed our first milestone with the theme of migrating and adapting Polkassembly to all OpenGov related changes and successfully delivered on the same by Feb end.

The theme of the previous proposal was Technical & Product Based Migration, Education regarding OpenGov & Creation of an appropriate user experience for the large transition governance went through.

We are committed to the DotSama ecosystem and we are investing significant capital upfront, believing we can provide a reliable and secure service to the community at a fixed and reasonable cost. We would like to emphasise that we do not collect any user data. We only track average rpc requests rate, computation and bandwidth use. - OpenZeppelin did a security review of the ink! smart contract language and Substrate’s smart contracts.
- They found 11 issues in the code.
- The Parity team worked well with OpenZeppelin during the process.
- Some problems have already been fixed: 2 from ink! and 7 suggestions from cargo-contract implemented.

Subsquid Lab Official proposes ongoing development and maintenance costs for public Subsquid Archives and the Giant Squid API for a total of 49880.0 DOT ($224,460.03). The Archives provide access to on-chain data in GraphQL format for all major parachains on Kusama and Polkadot, while the Giant Squid is a set of open-source GraphQL APIs built with Squid SDK and maintained by Subsquid Labs.

We are asking for money (called tranches 2 and 3) to pay for two events: an online hackathon and the Decoded hackathon. We need £95,000 in DOT to cover these events. Here's what the money will be used for:

2. Running the second online hackathon (£15,000 in DOT)
3. Running an in-person hackathon at Decoded (£60,000 in DOT)

We need this money earlier than planned because the in-person hackathon is happening sooner than we thought.

With this funding request (totalling: £95k in DOT) we are calling the funding tranches proposed for April 2023 (£25k) and July 2023 (£70k) from the initial proposal as we are delivering the online hackathon (April tranche) as well as the in-person hackathon which note has been moved to earlier than planned (originally planned for July tranche).

This covers:

-   funding for the first online hackathon prizes (£10k in DOT) (which were delayed and outstanding due to the governance change)
-   funding for running the second online hackathon (£15k in DOT)
