KAGOME Treasury Proposal 4 is a plan to improve the diversity of Polkadot clients. KAGOME is a C++ version of the Polkadot Host, which helps make the Polkadot and Kusama networks safer and more innovative. The proposal has two main parts:
1. Security assessment of new features by SRLabs.

# **KAGOME treasury proposal 4: Enhancing Polkadot clients diversity**

## **Context of proposal**

[KAGOME](https://github.com/qdrvm/kagome) is a C++ implementation of the[ Polkadot Host that](https://wiki.polkadot.network/docs/learn-polkadot-host) brings clients diversity to Polkadot and Kusama networks mitigating risks associated with fatal bugs, fostering innovation, and expanding the development community. 

During [Milestone 3](https://polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/925), the final features for complete Polkadot-SDK node compatibility were implemented. Consequently, KAGOME became the first alternative Polkadot Host implementation to participate in Polkadot's validating set. Future cohorts of the Decentralized Nodes program aim to have more node operators running KAGOME ([link](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1NOkXMSAOYYgm_NCEzuTCKE-rl5MnlaZD3FN8v0otYbc/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.yagc8jqu1d54)) which will increase the portion of validators running alternative clients in the network leading to higher network resilience and stability.

The scope of this proposal is targeting implementation of new RFCs in KAGOME as well as necessary features to keep KAGOME compatible with Polkadot-SDK. 

This is a joint proposal with our long term partners SRLabs, who are helping us with the security assessment of KAGOME to give confidence to node operators. ## **Alignment with JAM**

Quadrivium is also developing a JAM client alongside KAGOME. 

However, multiple Polkadot Host implementations are important today, particularly because KAGOME already works with the Polkadot SDK. Additionally, alternative clients such as KAGOME offer a valuable opportunity for Polkadot to prepare for supporting multiple clients following the JAM upgrade, which we expect to happen no sooner than in a year or two.

Polkadot is planning to upgrade to version 1.5.0, which includes improvements in dispute handling and full relay chain support for Elastic Scaling. However, due to the Kusama incident, the upgrade is being canceled. A new version will be prepared with the following changes:

2. Validator re-enabling

After the runtime upgrade, another referendum is needed for Elastic Scaling to be live. More details can be found in the fellowship release notes. The estimated enactment time is May 14, 2025.

PolkaBiz Retroactive Treasury Request January - April 2025

SAGE, or Substrate Asset Game Engine, is a proposal by Rosťa aimed at benefiting the Polkadot ecosystem, particularly for junior developers and game developers. The main goal is to improve tooling for .net development in Polkadot, which is used by many projects like Xcavate, Ajuna, and PlutoFramework. Supporting SAGE will help these projects by allowing teams to focus more on their final products and less on low-level details.

Cedric, the main developer behind SAGE and his company Ajuna, have a proven track record of developing open-source tooling for the .net ecosystem and creating advanced on-chain games. Their work is well-maintained and has been beneficial for the community, as seen in the quick responses to GitHub issues and contributions from other developers.

SAGE has already shown its effectiveness in hackathons, with projects using Substrate.Net.Api winning major prizes. The .net tooling developed by Cedric and Ajuna is powerful and easy to use, which is crucial for the success of projects relying on it.

Marketing for SAGE is not necessary, as developers will naturally find and use the tooling if it is useful for their C# applications secured by Polkadot. SAGE aims to provide a full-featured solution for game developers who may not be familiar with blockchain technology.

Hello, I am Rosťa and I am bringing You a revised proposal for SAGE.

I will address a few comments that we have received and I will try to explain why I think SAGE is valuable for Polkadot Ecosystem.

I do not want to repeat myself, so at the bottom, you can find the original proposal.

## Target audience

Junior Developers and Junior Game developers.

## Impact

The .net development ecosystem in Polkadot has been growing and it is now used by many projects secured by Polkadot that depend on it.

Projects like Xcavate, Ajuna, PlutoFramework... (Those are only open-sourced projects that I know of. There are certainly many more closed-sourced ones too)

By supporting this proposal, you will help all of these projects by improving the tooling they use. Teams will spend less time figuring out low-level shits and they will have more time to focus on the final product. This has been proven multiple times at hackathons over the past 2 years.

## Proven team and proven tooling

Cedric (The main developer behind SAGE) and his company Ajuna have proven themselves with the development of **incredible open-sourced** tooling for .net ecosystem and also with the development of most technically advanced fully on-chain games.

Unlike many other teams, Cedric and Ajuna have followed the web3 core principles and made all of their work open-sourced. This was also beneficial for them, because many developers that used these tools have also contributed back!

The help from Cedric and everyone maintaining always immediate. Take a look at the [github issues](https://github.com/ajuna-network/Substrate.NET.API/issues?q=is%3Aissue) other dev's made and notice that the responses came just a few hours after the issue was made. Many times Cedric stepped up and coded his own solution of the problem, like in [this issue](https://github.com/ajuna-network/Substrate.NET.API/issues/44) and [this issue](https://github.com/ajuna-network/Substrate.NET.API/issues/101).

One of the most important things for toolings is not only to have them, but also having them maintained. Polkadot is well known for it's forkless upgrades, however frequent updates also require frequent maintenance of tools. Cedric and Ajuna also have not disappointed and delivered all of the updates needed on time.

Elegance of the .net tooling developed by Cedric and Ajuna could be seen on Hackathons. Over the past 2 years, there has **always** been at least 1 project which used Substrate.Net.Api and won the main prize. Here is a list of the hackathons and prizes won:

This would not have been possible if the tooling would not been so effective and simple to use. In fact, it is very powerful.

## No need for marketing

Developers are clever and very mindful of their time. If they want to build a c# application that is secured by Polkadot, they will use google/chatgpt and search what are the existing options for developing a c#/unity application/game with Polkadot. They will easily find Polkadot Unity SDK, Substrate.Net.Api, Substrate.Net.Toolchain... on the first page of google search. All of them are well documented, with a lot of working examples. Developers will find what they need just because it is very useful to them.

Personally, if the tooling would not have been there, I would probably give up and move on to a different ecosystem/different projects.

Also, you can not market something you do not have. It is hard to say that development on Polkadot is easy when in reality it is not. SAGE tries to address this by developing a full-featured solution for game developers that are not really familiar with the inner workings of blockchains.

## Value brought

I will not try to persuade anyone into thinking that the value is large. It probably is not. However, it is proportional with the amount requested.

Cedric is asking for \~0.0014% (as of time of writing) of the treasury funds and I think the impact for the ecosystem is already reaching >1% (Projects that **rely** on using Substrate.Net.Api for their parachain secured on Polkadot) and the potential for growth is even larger.

Substrate Asset Game Engine (SAGE) revised

A proposal has been made to allocate 5 million DOT (Polkadot's native token) towards DeFi incentives on Hydration, a platform that provides liquidity for Polkadot. The incentives will be distributed over 12 months and are divided into three parts: 2 million DOT for stablecoin incentives, 2 million DOT for liquidity provider (LP) incentives, and 1 million DOT to mint GIGADOT. The goal is to attract users, deepen liquidity, and strengthen Polkadot's position in the DeFi space. The proposal builds on the success of the previous Hydration liquidity campaign that started in June 2024. The funds will be kept in a proxy on Hydration, allowing Opengov to reclaim unspent funds and track the balance. A referendum will be launched to return 3 million DOT if the proposal is passed, with the remaining 2 million DOT distributed over 6 months. This will support the launch of Polkadot Hub and create synergies with existing DeFi products.

Polkadot GIGAHydration Campaign

Polkadot Storage has a new long-term plan to improve their storage system. They have completed 90% of phase 3 and are testing it in a private testnet. They will soon move to a public testnet and work on integrating it with the mainnet. Here are some of the new ideas they have for phase 4:

1. Jam Integration: They want to use their storage for Jam DA resupply and let any Jam Service use their long-term storage.
2. Light weight proof system: They want to offer a cheaper and lighter proof system for users who don't need strong guarantees.
3. Replication: They are working on moving from full replication to something like Erasure coding for better efficiency.
4. Legal: They are exploring responsibilities and liabilities when dealing with toxic data.
5. Economic model: They are researching the best numbers for slashing, storage costs, retrieval costs, and pricing to be competitive with centralized solutions. They also want to allow the use of restaked DOT.
6. XCM: They want to expose the storage so that other parachains can store data.
7. Marketplace model: They are thinking of the storage layer as a marketplace that gives access to all forms of competing centralized and decentralized storage.

Overall, they want to turn this into a proper storage product and build applications on top of it. They are excited about the potential and attention on storage lately.

Hey everyone, we are back with an improved long term plan for Polkadot Storage.



Last December, [phase 3 got rejected](https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/referenda/1313) during confirmation with a very narrow margin. Work has continued uninterrupted and we now have over 90% of phase 3 completed. We are testing the system in our private testnet and will move to a public testnet soon. Integration with mainnet has been postponed because of the JAM integration plans and we’ll continue improving tools and interfaces. During this time we have also been working with Parity and with their guidance have improved our long term approach. These ideas have been incorporated into Phase 4:

* Using our storage for Jam DA resupply.

Light weight proof system

* This was first initially flagged by Lucky Friday (thank you) and we later refined it during conversations with Parity. In short, our initial proof system protects against outsourcing attacks but it's also heavy and expensive. We wanna offer an alternative lighter proof system for users who don't need guarantees like that, at a much lower price.
* Merkle Proofs + zk-SNARKs
* Make the network work with multiple proof systems, let power users choose the proof system/guarantees they want.

Replication

* We added a naive version for now.
* Move from full replication to for example Erasure coding.
* Something like what Walrus uses “Twin-Code” or Reed Solomon error correction

Legal

* Explore responsibilities and liabilities when dealing with toxic data.

Economic model:

* Slashing - Although we have slashing implemented, we need to do some research on what the best numbers should be.
* Storage costs - Modeling the costs and income model for providers.
* Retrieval - Research retrieval costs to mitigate bandwidth attacks.
* Pricing - Price is important for users, make sure we do everything to be competitive with centralized solutions.
* Restaked DOT - Allow usage of restaked Dot so not to compete with staking rewards.

XCM

* Exposing the storage so that other parachains can store data. Check usefulness after Jam integration.

Marketplace model

* Thinking of this Storage layer also as a marketplace that gives access to all forms of competing centralized and decentralized storage.



Overall the plan is to turn this into a proper Storage product and build applications on top. With so much potential and attention on storage lately, it's an exciting time to build.

They have also engaged with Kunveno (Web3Spaces), a Web3 freelancing platform, Catapulta, a no-code dApp builder, and are working on an agreement with the Government of Andorra to support Web3 startups. They are also working on an Institutional DOT Fund and Staking with MoraBanc. The team has updated their proposal to be more focused and better aligned with the community's expectations, providing a clear roadmap for the future.

We are **IBERLABS**, formerly known as the **Business Development team for Spain & Andorra**. Over the past year, we've worked to expand Polkadot’s presence across the region by building partnerships with institutions, enterprises, and public entities.

We’ve taken note of all the feedback from our last proposal so this version comes more focused and better aligned with the community’s expectations, responding to every request made.

Continuation Operations for 1 year - Spanish BD Team, now IBERLABS

The JAM Gray Paper, translated by Qinwen Wang and the Lollipop Team, introduced JAM's innovations to Chinese speakers. Qinwen also wrote a popular science article about JAM's significance. Now, they are planning the JAM China Academy educational roadshow to teach university students, entrepreneurs, and government officials about JAM's transformative vision.

The JAM China Academy aims to:

1. Serve as a bridge and innovation accelerator for overseas projects in China's market.
2. Adapt to China's unique policy, culture, and market needs.
3. Help JAM align with China's strategy for self-reliant RISC-V chip development.

The roadshow targets:

1. Top computer science students in China's universities.
2. Entrepreneurs through business schools and EMBA programs.
3. Government officials and decision-makers involved in China's national blockchain infrastructure.

The course, "Exploring the Future of Web3 Cloud Computing: A Practical Guide to JAM," will teach Chinese students and professionals about decentralized computing technologies and how JAM fits with China's tech priorities. The JAM China Campus Network will also engage ambassadors to drive innovation, education, and entrepreneurship through JAM initiatives.

When the [**JAM Gray Paper**](https://graypaper.com/resources/) was first released, Qinwen Wang and the Lollipop Team initiated and translated the [Chinese version of JAM Gray Paper](https://x.com/Qinwen_Wang/status/1907060977188900939), enabling developers and researchers in the Chinese-speaking world to better understand JAM’s groundbreaking innovations. Later,  Qinwen wrote a popular science article titled, [Three Enlightenment of Blockchain Grandmaster Gavin Wood: Decoding JAM’s Transformative Blueprint](https://x.com/Qinwen_Wang/status/1915384049730019799) which successfully brought JAM’s epoch-making significance to a broader group of audience in Mandarin and English world.&#x20;

These efforts are merely preludes to the upcoming **JAM China Academy educational roadshow** that it's proposed here which is led by Qinwen and Lollipop team, facing university students, entrepreneurs and government decision-markers. It will continue the traditions of  Dr. Gavin Wood's overseas itinerant presentations in a localized way. # **Why Support JAM China Academy educational roadshow?**

### A localized JAM academy in China as a legitimate bridge and innovation accelerator 

Founded by Dr. Gavin Wood in 2022, the Polkadot Blockchain Academy (PBA) has been a pioneer in blockchain education (mentioning PBA not for abuse of influence or commercial benefits but for paying tribute). To plant the seeds of blockchain knowledge and nurturing local talents, we decided to bring JAM to the universities in China. While China’s huge market potential is undeniable, simply replicating overseas models in the country is impractical due to differences in domestic policies, local cultures and market scales. We firmly believe that only localized blockchain education can bring sustainable growth and as a legitimate bridge and innovation accelerator for overseas projects to root and grow in the China market.

* **Policy and Regulatory Environment:** China local government encourages innovation in blockchain technology but strictly monitors the industry so that localized curricula can provide precise interpretations of policies ( for example, [the Regulations on Blockchain Information Service Management](https://www.cac.gov.cn/2019-01/10/c_1123971164.htm)）
* **Education and Talent Development:** Chinese universities lag behind their Western counterparts in blockchain education. A localized academy can close this gap by training talent skilled in both technology and domestic industry needs, fostering future leaders in computer science and entrepreneurship.
* **Technological Autonomy in Geopolitical Competition:** As technology competition between China and the US is getting heated, China tends to prioritize self-developed standards. A local academy can help overseas blockchain projects integrate into China’s ecosystem, such as aligning with domestic cryptography algorithms (e.g., SM2/SM3).

## **China Holds Strategic Significance for JAM**

JAM’s core breakthrough lies in its parallelized blockchain computation and the seamless compatibility of PolkaVM with the RISC-V chip architecture—an innovation that aligns perfectly with[ China’s strategy for self-reliant RISC-V chip development](https://www.reuters.com/technology/china-publish-policy-boost-risc-v-chip-use-nationwide-sources-2025-03-04/). As China prepares its first policy framework to protect domestic open source RISC-V chips, it is accelerating the development of a self-innovation system to reduce reliance on Western technologies. Most existing consortium chains in China rely on Ethereum’s architecture—a paradigm pioneered by Gavin Wood himself previously. 

## **3 kinds of target audience and institutions for JAM China Academy educational roadshow:**

1. &#x20;**Top-Tier Computer Science Students:** Focus on China’s top 25 computer science universities and top-rank institutions offering blockchain-related programs. There are 32 universities that have approved blockchain engineering undergraduate programs.
2. **Entrepreneurs:** Collaborate with EMBA programs or prestigious business schools that target entrepreneurs  (*e.g., Zhejiang Hupan Entrepreneurship Research Center)* to shape the understanding of blockchain among corporate leaders and accelerate its operational implementation.
3. **Government & Influential Decision-Makers:** China is accelerating the construction of a national blockchain infrastructure system. The Blockchain-based Service Network (BSN), a global public blockchain infrastructure with overarching planning and top-level design by the State Information Center, marks a paradigm shift in blockchain development—from market-driven exploration to state-strategic leadership. Against this backdrop, advancing deep integration between the JAM protocol and China’s national blockchain infrastructure will forge a technological foundation for interconnected digital sovereignty, laying a strategic cornerstone for the restructuring of the global digital governance system.

### **Exploring the Future of Web3 Cloud Computing: A Practical Guide to JAM**

This course is specifically designed for Chinese computer science students, builders and Web3 professionals who seek to understand and apply next-generation decentralized computing technologies in practical and business-oriented contexts.

By integrating global blockchain expertise with regional characteristics, the course simplifies complex Web3 concepts into accessible language with localized explanations, while simultaneously offering in-depth exposure to the technical foundations of the JAM protocol. The course also highlights how JAM aligns with China’s priorities in technological self-reliance and open-source innovation.

JAM China Academy (Educational Roadshow)

Bifrost has proposed a liquidity loan to the Polkadot treasury, requesting a loan of 1,000,000 DOT (about $4,000,000) to be repaid with 6% interest. This loan aims to increase vDOT-DOT liquidity, support vDOT growth, and expand its use in DeFi applications within the Polkadot ecosystem. Bifrost has a good track record of repaying treasury loans with interest, having brought a total income of 8,370.5523 KSM to the Kusama Treasury. The loan will be used to mint vDOT, diversifying the Polkadot treasury's DOT capital and earning staking rewards. Bifrost is a liquid staking app-chain for all blockchains, allowing users to earn staking rewards and DeFi yields across multiple chains. The loan's success will be measured by tracking vDOT minting TVL, DOT-vDOT liquidity growth, unique address growth rate, and new vDOT ecosystem integrations.

On April 16th, James Slusser and Phunky attended FBBA's "Blockchain Day" in Tallahassee to advocate for the Polkadot ecosystem. They networked with legislators, answered questions, and explained Polkadot's features and benefits. They also met with Commissioner Weigel and his staff to discuss legal language for DAOs. Polkadot was recognized in both House and Senate chambers, thanks to DOT token holders joining the FBBA. Phunky and James were not compensated for their advocacy work, and they are requesting a tip to help cover their costs.

I would like to propose a tip for James Slusser and myself for our advocacy of the Polkadot ecosystem on Wednesday, April 16th during FBBA's "Blockchain Day" in Tallahassee. We both had an incredible day networking with legislators in both the House and Senate, answering their questions and telling them about Polkadot.

In every meeting we had with legislators and their aides, James went to great lengths to explain : 1) what Polkadot is; 2) how our governance system works; 3) why our security and scalability provide enterprise grade solutions via blockchain technology; 4) that the State of Florida should provide a legal framework for DAOs.

Later in the afternoon, we had an hour long roundtable with Commissioner Weigel and his staff at the Office of Financial Regulation, during which we both encouraged them to continue their work with the Florida Bar to investigate potential avenues to craft legal language that could be used for. a future bill during the next legislative session.

Moreover, thanks to DOT token holders previous decision to join the FBBA (Florida Business Blockchain Association), President Sam Armes made sure that Polkadot was recognized in both chambers before the House and Senate began conducting their legal business for the day.

Tip for Tallahassee Advocacy 

Mythical and Xcavate are two parachains that own a lot of Coretime but missed the chance to renew it. Someone bought all the cores because they think the price is too low. Without Coretime, parachains can't make blocks. The person who bought the cores is asking for a lot of money, so they might be a scammer. To help Mythical and Xcavate, a proposal is made to give them two cores. This will add 4 new cores to the system and let them use Coretime for about 2 months. The proposal also wants to improve the Coretime system so that good projects can always get cores and avoid scammers. In the future, parachains should use the auto-renew feature to avoid this problem.

Assigning Coretime to Xcavate and Mythical

PoKe Berlin Team is requesting a 6-month extension to transform promising projects into an operational state using Polkadot's technology. They have achieved all milestones so far and secured signed agreements in over 10 industry verticals. Some of the most promising projects include collaboration with a Chinese technology conglomerate, diaspora-financed health insurance for an African country, mandatory travel insurance for an African country, a German Defense Industry Project, projects in the government and private sector for an outer territory of the USA, Central American Ministry for the Environment, Blockchain Use Cases in Supply Chain and CO2 Network, and a Photovoltaic Remote Control Project for German Municipalities. The team will focus on finalizing concepts, developing high-level roadmaps, involving Polkadot ecosystem partners, and generating follow-up projects for the Polkadot ecosystem. The team members have deep roots in the Polkadot ecosystem and have demonstrated excellent skills in business development and key accounting.

# 6 Months Extension for the PoKe Berlin Team - Transform Projects to Operational State &#x20;

# Short Description

The scope of PoKe is business development that targets enterprises and governments to leverage Polkadot’s technology and to hand over projects to the Polkadot community. For that the W3F funded PoKe through the Decentralized Futures Programme for one year from May 2024 onwards. 

PoKe has achieved all its milestones to date! To ensure the maximum impact for the Polkadot ecosystem we believe that an additional six month period of key accounting and project management is necessary. As already mentioned in our [initial forum post](https://forum.polkadot.network/t/scytale-digital-s-involvement-in-the-w3f-futures-program-via-poke-the-polkadot-key-account-unit/4881) and the application to the Decentralized Futures Programme we now ask the community to fund this period.

# Achievements

Our efforts have proven highly successful, revealing significant potential for Polkadot’s adoption across enterprise and government sectors. We have secured signed agreements and built a strong project pipeline in more than 10 industry verticals, including government, healthcare, energy, and defense. Promising opportunities in various stages have emerged from these verticals. Some projects have already secured an MoU or a collaboration agreement, others will be secured within the scope of PoKe.

The following projects are the most promising ones from our point of view, and they would require additional management attention to get them to a state where the implementation project can be kicked-off. Some projects will also require management of the Polkadot ecosystem consortium and local entities during the implementation phase resulting in a hand over to the local organizations.

* **Collaboration with Chinese Technology Conglomerate**
 A MoU has been signed with a multinational technology conglomerate with a dominant presence in China and beyond. An affiliate of the conglomerate wants to move forward to integrate their solutions with Polkadot in different areas of collaboration.
* **Diaspora-financed health insurance for an African country**.
 A Signed Collaboration Agreement between a local company on the ground and Scytale for facilitating a pilot project is in place. The project is progressing smoothly, with the MOU signed by the Ministry of Innovation, a local university, a local company and the W3F. The PoKe team currently works on the LOI. This project has the potential to be rolled out throughout the African Union.
* **Mandatory travel insurance for an African country**.
 The concept was presented and discussed on site with high-ranking government representatives and insurance executives. The concept was accepted by everyone, especially the insurance companies who showed high interest in the project because it opens up another revenue stream for them.
* **German Defense Industry Project: Resilient Identification System**.
 We had two high level workshops with the company in December and March. The discussion centered around how they could leverage Polkadot and blockchain technology. Three areas of collaboration are planned, such as building a prototype in the area of maritime communication, participating in  a project funded through the EU military research fund and they are interested in participating in the PBA. The former PoKe team has established a trusted relationship with the decision makers and  we believe a lot of key accounting will be necessary to be successful.
* **Projects in the government and private sector for an outer territory of the USA.** PoKe is discussing three projects in different stages in the government and private sector for an outer territory of the USA. The first project involves establishing a decentralized energy production system managed by local communities, coupled with a decentralized blockchain-based energy exchange. The second project focuses on creating a blockchain-based land registry, while the third aims to transform the Caribbean territory into a central hub for air cargo. These projects have the potential to open the door for the Polkadot ecosystem for future and more projects within the US, which has always been a challenge in the past.
* **Central American Ministry for the Environment**
 The Ministry is positioning itself as a key driver of blockchain initiatives in the country. In collaboration with them, we have identified promising use cases, which are now being further defined and planned. While these serve as initial pilot projects, the government is also actively exploring additional blockchain solutions within the Polkadot ecosystem. The pilot projects still require management and support by PoKe to bring them to a state where they can be implemented. We believe that some key accounting will increase the probability for Polkadot to become the center of the country's blockchain strategy.
* **Blockchain Use Cases in Supply Chain and CO2 Network**
 A global service provider with a focus on digital transformation and automation is exploring the use of Polkadot nodes.They are seeking a compelling use case, potentially for one of their customers, to justify a Polkadot project. For example, they are in discussions with a leading gas monopolist developing the first CO2 network in Germany. The goal is to use blockchain technology to track and document CO2 transferred into the pipelines, as well as the consumers who store, transfer, or transport the CO2. 
* **Photovoltaic Remote Control Project for German Municipalities**
 Project for the municipalities of a major German city to remotely control photovoltaic systems for stabilizing the power grid by managing electricity oversupply from small to medium-sized PV systems. This project has the advantage that it can be used as a blueprint for further projects in the German energy market.

# &#x9;Deliverables

The initial goal of PoKe was to identify verticals, establish connections with decision-makers, identify problems, and develop solutions using Polkadot, and then move these solutions to the MoU stage. The objective now is to make these projects operational to benefit Polkadot and its ecosystem.

Due to time constraints, the remaining PoKe time is not enough and may result in missed opportunities for the Polkadot ecosystem. During the 6 months we will focus on:

* Finalizing concepts, requirements, technical approaches, and solutions.
* Developing high-level roadmaps, project plans, and timelines.
* Finding and involving Polkadot ecosystem partners to build consortia.
* Developing sustainable business and funding models for new companies and projects.
* Offering project management support for complex projects, even after handover.
* Generating follow-up projects for the Polkadot ecosystem.
* Ensuring publicity and press releases for projects with MoUs and agreements.
* Presenting successful MoU completions and key learnings at conferences.

The team has deep roots in the Polkadot ecosystem and has due to its experience a profound understanding of the requirements and workings of large organizations. Its members have been part of PoKe since the beginning (even since the ideation phase of PoKe) and they are the driving force behind the aforementioned projects. Ingo Rübe, CEO of BOTLabs GmbH and founder of KILT Protocol, leads a Berlin-based team developing blockchain-based identity solutions. With a Computer Science degree from the Technical University of Berlin, he has held leadership positions at Axel Springer SE, Hubert Burda Media, and Drupal. He is also a founding member of the International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications INATBA.

Once we secure strategic partnerships and the technical audit is done, we're ready to deploy it to Polkadot ecosystem

### Product-Market Fit:

Suprime's audience has 3 types of personas:

\- **startup founders**. They will have a place to list their idea, in a permissionless way, no private chats or inquiries required and the chance of a great idea being lost to the noisiest ones is less

\- **VCs and funds** will benefit from the help of the community - potential leads are already sorted out, so less time is required to find a potential gem. Also, if a lead is secured, they will benefit long run from the help of community and connected services and advisors

\- **retail investors** will be able to 'be early' but this time for real, not because they're told so.

No solution on the market solves all these issues together. There are tools out there, like launchpads but they don't care about success long run. Echo.xyz is kinda similar, but investors have to trust promises of 'leads', and the platform has no transparency whatsoever. Despite that, they helped to raise $105M from 8k unique investors, so the demand is there.

### Growth & Monetization:

The investment and startup acceleration market is huge but heavily depends on the market condition, so we expect ups and downs when designing the treasury burn rate.

We see Suprime platform as an addition to the existing web3 accelerators and VC funds, that would serve as a tech partner, so we could build up the distribution quickly.

### Funding:

We've built an MVP and spent around 13 months, using 100% of own funds. During that time, we had two FTEs, and multiple part-time contributors, from marketing, market research, and design. Total expenses at the moment are $85k.

We're looking for an extra round of funds to move it to the next level, and:

* establish a strategic partnership with funds and accelerators, who share same vision of transparency and trustless business models
* make the solution feature-complete, and rollover it to Polkadot
* accelerate Suprime on Suprime platform

- The Polkadot Ecology Research Institute is a big research group in Asia about the Polkadot community.
- They have been working on Polkadot for more than 6 years and have helped many projects and events.
- The team has written nearly 300 pieces about Polkadot and has reached over 63 million readers.
- They support projects in the Polkadot ecosystem, even outside China, often for free.
- Their Twitter account has grown a lot, with over 4,700 followers this year.
- They recently shared a big report about Polkadot's future that got a lot of attention.
- They are asking for money to help pay for their operations and work for another year.

- The Spammening was a special event involving Amforc and Parity Technologies to test how well the Polkadot network can handle many transactions.
- This event included different phases and a big public test that showed strong performance of the Polkadot ecosystem.
- Before the main test, Amforc did other smaller tests on the Polkadot and Kusama networks.
- Amforc worked hard without getting paid during this project and is now asking for 45,000 USDT as a reward for their efforts.
- They helped design the structure of the event, prepared proposals, and coordinated with others to run the tests.
- Some problems were found during the tests, including issues with the network's ability to handle many transactions at the same time.
- The project showed the importance of rewarding those who help improve the Polkadot ecosystem.
