The <a href="https://github.com/paulmillr/micro-sr25519">micro-sr25519 package</a> developed by Paul Miller as an extension to @noble/curves to support the Polkadot ecosystem is now ready for the auditing phase. For this phase, Paul suggested to go with a new firm other than the Cure53 as most of his work is audited by Cure53. So we (Edgetributor SubDAO) explored multiple auditing firms for the last couple of weeks and selected 3 firms for the final evaluation. We then reviewed the scopes and offerings of those 3 firms based on the backgrounds of the auditing researchers they offered, their experience, stack familiarity and total number of researchers proposed in the scope, Polkadot ecosystem familiarity, low level JS/TS experience and cryptographic curves familiarity. Oak Security firm is the one which turned out to be superior compared to the other offerings in this specific case. Although many of the Polkadot ecosystem tools/products already started adopting the micro-sr25519 package, Paul Miller himself advocated to get the package audited before using it in any production deployments. Currently there is an open <a href="https://github.com/polkadot-js/common/pull/1971">pull request to switch from @polkadot/wasm-crypto to micro-sr25519 package in PolkadotJS suite</a> for ecosystem-wide security and performance benefits.

<h1>Edgetributor SubDAO&rsquo;s role</h1>
What started as a quest to have the development of a missing component required for our project, have come a long way to benefit the whole Polkadot ecosystem. Edgetributor SubDAO as the curator of this proposal will be representing Oak Security in OpenGov and in other operational duties. Edgetributor SubDAO will be responsible for the custody of the USDC (in a multisig) which needs to be disbursed to the Oak Security in two mentioned phases. Oak Security also requires a legal entity to sign the contract and for the same purpose Edgetributor SubDAO will utilise the legal entity of Edgeware DAO Association (Swiss Association) to save the costs and time required to involve PCF. The entire amount corresponding to this proposal (except the refundable bridging buffer) will be going to the auditing entity Oak Security. In this whole process, Edgetributor SubDAO or Edgeware DAO or any Edgeware contributors are not getting financially benefited by any means. We are interested in exploring the BD bounty for our time and efforts contributed so far, especially for the screening of the auditing firms, comparative analysis of their offerings and follow-ups.

Decentralized High Performance Object Storage (MinIO)

- The Polkadot upgrade to v1.1.2 accidentally stopped three staking accounts from getting rewards.
- A proposal was made to pay back these accounts for the missed rewards.
- The issue was discussed by a developer in the Polkadot Forum.
- A fix came with a later upgrade, v1.4.0, which corrected the problem for one account.
- Each account missed out on different amounts of rewards due to this issue.
- The affected accounts had varying last rewards and average annual percentages.
- The rewards for the three accounts that need to be reimbursed are 1,603.46 DOT, 587.11 DOT, and 1,313.76 DOT.

SUMMARY
The Polkadot runtime upgrade to v1.1.2 introduced an unintentional breaking change that prevented three staking accounts from receiving staking rewards across multiple eras. This proposal seeks to reimburse these accounts for the rewards they should have earned for backing validators and securing the network.
The process was detailed by core developer gpestana in multiple articles compiled in the following Polkadot Forum post:

Research on the Efficiency of AI Models on the Polkadot Blockchain
Open Web Academy has established an agreement with the Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education of Ensenada (<a href="https://www.cicese.edu.mx/">CICESE</a>), one of the leading research centers in Mexico, to collaborate on the creation of educational content related to artificial intelligence and the development of scientific research in this field. As part of this alliance, the proposal includes the creation of a scientific paper titled "Computational Efficiency of AI Models on the Polkadot Blockchain", which aims to compare the execution of artificial intelligence models on and off the blockchain, evaluating costs and processing times.
Thanks to this collaboration, we have the participation of highly qualified experts and mentors, ensuring both the quality of the course and the rigor of the study, providing a practical and innovative approach to AI and blockchain.

Statescan is a tool for exploring certain blockchain networks. Here are some key points about it:

- It started in 2021 and helps people track Polkadot, Kusama, and other related chains.

Motivation
Despite Polkadot's growing ecosystem, users lack a unified analytics platform that captures both ecosystem-wide metrics and parachain-specific KPIs. Current tools provide fragmented insights, failing to capture the unique value propositions of individual parachains&mdash;whether in DeFi, DePIN, RWA, or BTCfi. Each parachain's success metrics are distinct: Acala thrives on trading volumes and staking, Interlay on active loans, and Peaq Network on user adoption. To address this fragmentation, PYOR proposes PolkaPulse&mdash;an all-in-one analytics platform combining ecosystem-wide indicators with parachain-specific metrics.
Details of Proposed Dashboard
Our proposed Dashboard majorly will consist of 2 products hosted live on a single user-facing interface. These 2 products / Dashboard are
1. Parachain activity dashboard

Initially, we will be covering five key networks: Polkadot, Moonbeam, Astar, Bifrost, and Acala. The dashboard will track opportunities across Lending, DEX Liquidity Pools, and Liquid Staking.

Conclusion
Our proposal addresses a key gap in the Polkadot ecosystem through two core dashboards: Parachain Activity and DeFi Yield Opportunities. These will provide real-time, parachain-specific data and DeFi analytics in a unified platform. During the initial two-week sprint, we'll collaborate with parachain teams to optimize metrics, aiming to facilitate informed decision-making and drive ecosystem growth.

PolkaPulse: DeFi Dashboard for Polkadot Parachains

- The budget for a program was adjusted to $16,000 after feedback suggested $30,000 to $40,000.
- They tried to get funding for an event in Nigeria but were denied because the money available was limited.
- They are dedicated to growing the Polkadot developer community and showing the features of Polkadot.
- They have self-funded several training programs for developers, focusing on Polkadot.
- Training programs included sessions on Polkadot 2.0 and smart contracts.
- The goal of their proposal is to help new developers learn about Polkadot and create decentralized applications (dApps).
- They want to make Polkadot a notable part of the global tech and blockchain scene.

**ParaXerve NFT Marketplace**

- ParaXerve is an online place to buy and sell NFTs (which are like digital collectibles).
- It works on both the main network and a special testing network.

- The platform is easy to use on different devices like phones and tablets.
- A plan is in place to add more features from December 2024 to March 2025. 
- The proposal includes trading features and improvements to the platform.

ParaXerve NFT Marketplace Development

- FluffyLabs is proposing to improve the Gray Paper Reader, a tool that helps everyone understand the Gray Paper for JAM, which is about Polkadot Cloud.
- The Gray Paper Reader allows users to share, annotate, and track changes in the document easily.
- They are asking for $21,000 to continue this work and have already started developing the tool.
- The Gray Paper is very detailed but can be hard to read and keep updated.
- The Reader has features like switching between versions, sharing links, and attaching notes.
- It is open-source, meaning anyone can use and improve it.
- The team working on this has prior experience with retroactive funding for another tool called the PVM Debugger.

- Six worked as an Ambassador and Head Ambassador for Polkadot.
